Vital Care of South Miami, fully owned and operated by Dr. Adesh Prashad, is a compounding specialty home infusion pharmacy whose mission is to improve the lives of patients through quality-driven, cost-effective infusion services. From our brand-new state-of-the-art facility in South Miami located next door to Baptist, we provide comprehensive infusion therapies to patients of all ages.
Our clinical team — led by Dr. Jacquelyn Rodriguez-Broussard, a home-infusion pharmacist with over 10 years of experience, and Ivan Rodriguez, our dedicated Director of Nursing with 26 years of experience — work closely with Dr. Prashad and referring physicians to ensure seamless care coordination, from benefits verification, PA assistance, through ongoing therapy management. USP <797> compliant cleanroom designed for our site for sterile preparations and compounding in our certified facility.

Ongoing clinical pharmacy monitoring with drug therapy consultation, medication interaction screening, treatment optimization, as well as check-in calls and pharmacist availability.
Nursing Services
Ivan, our Director of Nursing, will be directly in charge of patient assessment, vascular access, medication administration, and infusion pump training/use.
